Arizona Early Thaw

Friday June 24 – Valley Speedway – Grain Valley, MO - Chris and Sonny traveled to Grain Valley, MO to compete in the MLRA event for the $2,500 top prize. 35 cars were signed in to compete. Chris would continue to drive away on the restarts and was able to hold off challenges from Purkey and David Turner to take his first MLRA win since 2002!

Saturday July 16
Scotland County Speedway - Memphis, MO

A packed grandstand arrived on a hot night to watch the twin 20 lap late model A features. Chris started on the front row outside of the makeup feature and bolted past pole starter Reid Millard to take the lead on the first lap. Chris then survived several caution periods and pulled away from 2nd place Tommy Elston on restarts each time to take the win going away.
