Thursday June 7 - Dubuque Speedway - Dubuque, IA

Stop #5 on the USRA tour with $2,000 up for grabs. Chris started on the front row outside of the heat race and held the lead until Ace Ihm slipped past on lap 3. Chris held on for 2nd and earned the 6th starting spot in the 30 lap A-main.

At the drop of the green in the A-main, Chris immediately went to work using the bottom side of the track. When the first caution flew, he had made it up to the 5th spot. Chris continued racing hard and was sitting 4th at the next caution. On the restart, Chris engaged in a furious battle for the 2nd spot with Chad Simpson and Ace Ihm. Chris finally emerged from the battle with the 2nd spot, but he had nothing for race winner Jeremiah Hurst.

 It was a hard fought 2nd place finish and the car was working really well. We were happy to keep our momentum rolling.
