Saturday April 28 - Scotland County Speedway - Memphis, MO

After thrashing all day to repair the car, the 25s team headed to Memphis to compete in the first USRA late model race. Chris came from the tail of his heat up to 5th and earned the 7th starting spot for the A-main.

At the drop of the green in the 30 lap race, Chris began moving forward. Chris worked his way to 5th and then began battling with Mark Burgtorf for 4th. Burgtorf held on to 4th until late in the race when Chris moved to the extreme high line and drove past to take the 4th spot with 2 laps remaining.

We were happy to get a top 5 and bring the car home in one piece. The car was working well, but we can still get it better. We learned several things that should help us as we go forward.
